who we are

The Upper Valley Localvores are an informal group of people practicing and organizing around eating locally. There's no official organization, we're just creating opportunities for people to learn more about supporting local producers.

The founding members are:

  • Pat McGovern, Lebanon, NH
  • Cindy Heath, Plainfield, NH
  • Lou Anne McLeod, Lebanon, NH
  • Barbara Duncan, Fairlee, VT
  • Susan Miller, Norwich, VT

With many thanks to Lisa Johnson and Stacey Glazer of Vital Communities for their help in incubating this group!

We hope to empower communication with the blog — it is set up so that you can participate too. Post questions or report on how challenges go for you on the blog. The sky's the limit.

Contact Pat, Cindy, or Jenna if you need help getting started — we'd be happy to help you make a comment or a post.
